Honor GT Launched: Honor has launched the gaming smartphone Honor GT. It is being called the company’s first hardcore gaming smartphone. The phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a local peak brightness of 4000 nits and a global peak brightness of 1200 nits. The starting variant of Honor GT comes in 12GB + 256GB configuration for 2,199 yuan (about Rs 25,600). The top variant of the phone comes in 16GB + 512GB configuration, which is priced at 2899 yuan (about Rs 33,800). The company has introduced the phone in Phantom Black, Ice Crystal White, and Aurora Green colors. Pre-orders for this phone have started. It can be purchased in China from December 24.

The Honor GT gaming phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2664×1200 pixels. It comes with FHD display and the phone has a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 1.07 billion colors. The phone has a local peak brightness of 4000 nits and a global peak brightness of 1200 nits. The company has also provided eye protection feature in it. The phone runs on Android 15 based MagicOS 9.0.

The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Being a gaming phone, the company has also provided a 3D natural circulation cooling system in it, which will prevent the phone from heating up during long gaming sessions. AI features have also been included in the phone, which include AI rendering, AI face recognition, AI photography, etc.

Talking about the camera, the phone has a 50MP main camera in the rear which also has OIS support. The phone has a 12MP ultrawide macro camera. It can record videos up to 4K resolution. The phone has a 16MP wide angle camera on the front side for selfies and video calling. It can record videos up to 1080P. The company has also provided EIS stabilization support in it.
