Vivo has launched its new budget 5G smartphone, the Vivo T5
Lite 44W 5G, in the Indian market. The company has introduced this device with
a focus on a large battery and long-lasting performance. The smartphone
features a 6500mAh battery, 44W FlashCharge support, and the MediaTek Dimensity
6300 processor. Additionally, the phone comes with a high-refresh-rate display
and a dual rear camera setup. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G has been launched in two
storage variants.
The Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G sports a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display
that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The
display panel is TUV Rheinland certified. The smartphone is powered by the
MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, accompanied by options for up to 6GB of
LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone runs on Android
16-based Origin OS 6.0, which includes features such as AI Creation, AI
Caption, and Private Space.
For photography, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G features a 50MP primary
camera and a 0.8MP secondary camera on the rear. It also includes a 5MP front
camera for selfies and video calling. The phone offers various camera modes,
including AI camera features, Night Mode, and Portrait Mode.
In terms of battery, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is equipped with a
6500mAh battery that supports 44W FlashCharge. The company claims that this
battery is designed to provide long-lasting backup. Additionally, the phone
features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP65 rating, SGS and
military-grade durability certifications, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, FM
radio, OTG support, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and other connectivity
options. The phone measures 8.39mm in thickness and weighs 209 grams.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G Price in India
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G has been launched in India in three storage
variants. The 4GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹19,999, while the 6GB + 128GB
configuration costs ₹22,999. The top-end 6GB + 256GB variant is priced at
₹25,999. The phone will be available in Wave Blue and Twilight Shadow color
options. Sales will commence via Flipkart, Vivo's official website, and select
offline retail stores.
Regarding launch offers, early customers can avail a flat
discount of ₹1,500 using Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and SBI Bank credit cards,
bringing the starting effective price of the phone down to ₹18,499.
