Bluegen OKPad: This tablet has two displays, folds like a book; know the price
Bluegen has introduced one of its latest tablets for crowdfunding, the biggest feature of which is its dual-screen design. It is an Android tablet, which includes an octa-core Qualcomm processor with 4GB RAM and a 7,000mAh battery. The tablet has a 7.8-inch E Ink screen, which is paired with an 8.9-inch IPS LCD panel. Along with general usage, it also works as an e-book reader. Hinges have been installed in it, through which the tablet can be folded like a book.
Bluegen has made this dual-screen tablet named OKpad live for crowdfunding on Kickstarter. A super early bird special offer has been made for the first 100 supporters, which is priced at $ 199 (approximately Rs 16,600). This is 50 percent off the original price. After this, the price for the next 200 backers will be $249 (approximately Rs 20,800) and a Kickstarter special price will be $299 (approximately Rs 25,000). After the end of the campaign, its launch price has been said to be $399 (about Rs 33,500). Shipping is likely to begin in August 2024.
The BlueZene OKPad dual-screen tablet sports an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with a 7.8-inch e-ink screen. With this combination, the tablet can be used for entertainment as well as an e-reader. Both screens are touch-enabled and the e-ink display has a pressure sensitivity level of 4096. The device also features a 360-degree hinge that allows switching between different modes, including a traditional laptop setup, tent mode for reading, or a pure e-reader experience.
