Sony launches 98-inch size 4K HDR display, know price and features

Sony has launched 98-inch professional BRAVIA display in India. The new display comes with model number BZ53L, designed for specific corporate, educational and retail settings. Sony’s new 98-inch BZ53L display is a deep black non-glare display, equipped with a 4K 120Hz panel. The company has included XR TRILUMINOS Pro technology in it for accurate colors. The display supports a peak brightness level of 780 nits. Sony has made the BRAVIA BZ53L from recycled plastic and packaging.

The Sony BRAVIA BZ53L Professional Display is priced at Rs 20,00,000 (including taxes) in India and will be available for purchase from July 15 via Sony authorized retailers in India.

Sony has informed through a press release that BRAVIA BZ53L comes equipped with Sony’s Deep Black non-glare coating, which claims to maintain deep black color, high contrast and accurate image quality. It also claims to fix digital signage concerns in high ambient light or direct lighting conditions with minimal brightness and low reflection.

The BZ53L features a 4K 120 Hz panel for smooth motion presentation, XR TRILUMINOS Pro for a wide range of colors, 780 nits level for high brightness, and Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) backlight for superior image quality. It supports 24/7 operation and Pro mode for optimized settings.

This model supports portrait and tilt configuration. It comes with multiple handles for transportation and easy installation with a variety of terminal options. It supports Apple AirPlay2, Google Chromecast and Google meet. The software API function allows users to connect their devices and can be accessed by installing the BRAVIA Signage Free (BSF) app on a USB flash drive.

The BZ53L uses recycled plastic materials and packaging and comes equipped with a power-saving mode to reduce power consumption when not in use.
