Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched a new smartphone Redmi Note 12R in its home market China. This is the world’s first mobile phone which has come in the market with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. This is the latest chipset made by Qualcomm which has been introduced recently. Redmi Note 12R specifications

Screen: The Redmi Note 12R supports a 6.79-inch large screen with a punch-hole style and supports FullHD+ resolution. This display is made on IPS LCD panel and works at 90Hz refresh rate.

Processor: Redmi Note 12R has been launched on Android 13 which works in tandem with MIUI 14. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor which is built on 4nm fabrications and runs at 2.2GHz clock speed.

Memory: Redmi Note 12R has been launched in China in three RAM variants. These include 4 GB RAM, 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM. These models will be made available in 128 GB storage and 256 GB storage options.

Camera: This smartphone supports dual rear camera for photography. A 50-megapixel primary sensor with F / 1.8 aperture has been given on its back panel, which works in conjunction with a 2-megapixel macro lens. Similarly, it supports 5MP front camera for selfie and video calling.

Battery: For power backup, a 5,000 mAh battery has been provided in the new Redmi Note smartphone, which works in conjunction with 18W fast charging technology.

Redmi Note 12R Price

Redmi Note 12R has been launched in China in four variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 11,300). Similarly, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage has been launched in CNY 1099 (about Rs. 12,400) and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage has been launched in CNY 1499 (about Rs. 16,900). The highest 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 1799 (roughly Rs. 20,300).
