The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to launch alongside two other models in the series, with 5G support tipped for the lineup. A Weibo user named IT Charm shared a poster detailing the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which claims the phone will offer:
- An LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate
- A Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor
- A 108-megapixel primary camera
- A 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging
- NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack and high-resolution audio support

Redmi brand general manager Lu Vibing appeared to back up the processor claim by reposting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G post, though he did not specify which model would use the chip. Xiaomi is unveiling the Redmi Note 9 series in China on November 26, and the China version is expected to differ from the Redmi Note 9 range available elsewhere.
Camera setup: a 108MP quad array
Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G may use a quad rear camera setup led by a 108-megapixel sensor, accompanied by a super wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and a macro lens. The tipster added that the remaining sensors are not as strong.
