Vivo has officially launched its new foldable smartphone,
the Vivo X Fold 6, in India. After introducing the device to the global market,
the company has now brought it to the Indian market. This foldable phone from
Vivo features a 2K+ foldable display, a flagship MediaTek chipset, a 200MP
camera, and a massive 6,900mAh battery. Additionally, the phone offers various
AI and multitasking features designed to leverage the large screen.
Two LTPO AMOLED Displays
When unfolded, the Vivo X Fold 6 reveals an 8.02-inch 2K+
LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2504×2312 pixels. When folded, the
device presents a 6.51-inch LTPO AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of
2528×1120 pixels. Both screens support an adaptive refresh rate ranging from
1Hz to 120Hz. They also feature Dolby Vision support and a peak brightness of
up to 5,000 nits.
Dimensity 9500 Super Edition SoC
For performance, the Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the 3nm
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It offers options for up to 16GB
of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. On the software front, it runs
on Android 17-based OriginOS 7 Fold. To enhance the foldable screen experience,
it includes features such as Multi-Task Workbench, Multi-Split Screen, and AI
Cross-App Drag. These features allow the user to work with multiple apps
simultaneously.
200MP ZEISS Camera
The camera is a major highlight of this phone. The Vivo X
Fold 6 features a 200MP main camera equipped with OIS and ZEISS T* Coating. It
is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto
camera. For selfies and video calls, 20MP cameras are provided on both the
inner and outer screens. The phone supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video
recording. Additionally, it offers support for 100x ZEISS HyperZoom.
6,900mAh Battery

supports 80W FlashCharge (wired) and 40W wireless charging. The company has
utilized 5th-Gen Silicon Anode Technology and 3rd-Gen Semi-Solid-State Battery
Technology in the battery. Incorporating such a large battery despite its
foldable form factor is one of its standout features.
Lightweight and Slim Design
Vivo has also paid special attention to the design of the X
Fold 6. When unfolded, the Prism Black variant measures approximately 4.4mm in
thickness and weighs 228 grams. Meanwhile, the other variant is 4.8mm thick and
weighs 235 grams. The phone holds IPX8, IPX9, and IP5X ratings for protection
