Computer hardware manufacturer Acer has launched the
TravelLite TL24-54M business laptop in India. It is the first commercial laptop
in the country to feature Intel's new Core Series 3 processor. The laptop
supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and can be configured with PCIe Gen4 SSD
storage. Target customers for this business laptop include enterprises, small
and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), educational institutions, and government
departments. It supports Acer's FlexiCharger technology, designed to extend
battery life, and includes AI-driven features. The laptop features an aluminum
chassis.
Sales will be conducted through Acer's commercial partner
network in the country. The Acer TravelLite TL24-54M sports a 14-inch Full HD+
display with narrow bezels. It features a 180-degree hinge, allowing the
display to be laid completely flat. Powered by the Intel Core Series 3
processor—based on Intel's new technology—the laptop offers improved power
efficiency and support for business workloads. While it supports up to 64GB of
DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, the company has not yet disclosed the price
of the TravelLite TL24-54M.
The TravelLite TL24-54M comes with a webcam featuring an
integrated privacy shutter. Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet,
Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort support, and an HDMI port; details
regarding other ports have not been provided. The laptop also supports Acer's
FlexiCharger technology, designed to enhance battery longevity. This business
laptop features an aluminum chassis and supports TPM 2.0. It also includes
certain Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. The Acer TravelLite TL24-54M
offers a Kensington lock slot and a fingerprint authentication option for
enterprise security. The laptop weighs approximately 1.22 kg.
