Canon launched two mirrorless cameras in India, know the price and features.
Canon has expanded its range of mirrorless cameras in the Indian market. Canon has introduced two mirrorless cameras, the EOS R8 and the EOS R50. The Canon EOS R8 supports Canon Log 3 and 40fps shooting, while the Canon EOS R50 comes with an APS-C sensor. Canon has claimed about the EOS R8 that it is the company’s lightest full frame mirrorless camera. It has a 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor. Apart from this, Movie Digital IS is supported in this camera. Along with this we also get image stabilization.
Canon EOS R8 can record 4K video at 60p and Full HD video at 180p. Dramatic slow motion is also available with this. Two options for recording with this camera are 10-bit 4:2:2 High Dynamic Range HDR PQ and Canon Log 3. UVC and UAC are also supported for live streaming with the Canon EOS R8.
Canon EOS R50 Specifications and Features
Canon EOS R50 also has 24.2 megapixel sensor which is in APS-C format. It is the first APS-C mirrorless camera in the company’s EOS series that can record 6K videos. The EOS R50 can record Full HD video at 119.88fps and 4K video at 29.97fps. The weight of this camera is only 375 grams.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II is also supported with these cameras of Canon which helps in focusing the subject. Two movie IS levels are available with the camera. With this, 5-axis camera shake correction is available. Apart from the EOS R8 and EOS R50, Canon has also introduced the RF mount zoom lenses RF24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM. The company has not given information about the price of the camera.
