Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 5G Processor Launched, Know Features.
Qualcomm has launched its two new processors, which are – Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. Both these processors have been introduced for mid-range and budget smartphones. Talking about Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, it is a 4nm processor. It features Kryo cores and clock speeds up to 2.2GHz. On the other hand, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is 6nm processor, which features 8 Kryo core and clock speed up to 2GHz.
Both Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipsets have been introduced to offer advanced technology in mid-range and budget phones. Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor will be made available in smartphones in the first quarter of 2023, while Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 will be introduced in India with iQOO phones next week. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Features
Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is octa-core processor, which comes with Qualcomm Kryo CPU. The maximum clock speed of this processor will be 2.2GHz. Also, Adreno GPU is available in it. It will give 5G support. It supports TDD, FDD and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing for 5G global coverage. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2 and Qualcomm TrueWireless technology support.
Talking about the visuals, this processor supports Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For photos, this Qualcomm processor will support 200MP single camera and will have the facility to capture 4K video at 30fps.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 Features
On the other hand, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is an entry-level processor. This processor provides clock speed up to 2GHz. To support sub-6 GHz connectivity, Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF system has been integrated in it. Qualcomm says that this chipset will offer 15 percent CPU and 10 percent GPU performance compared to the previous SoC processor.
For visuals, this processor supports Full HD + resolution display and 120Hz refresh rate. It supports a single 108MP camera. Talking about other features, it has LPDDR4x RAM, Qualcomm aptX, USB-C (USB 3.1), FastConnect 6200, dual-band Wi-Fi, 2.5 Gbps 5G download speed, Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Sensing Hub.
