Microsoft introduced many products including Surface Duo 2 foldable smartphone
Microsoft has launched Surface Duo 2, an upgraded model of its foldable smartphone Surface Duo. In addition, the company has also announced Surface Laptop Studio, a laptop from the Surface family. Not only this, the company has also introduced Surface Pro 8, Surface Go 3 and Surface Pro X. All these products have seen upgrades and will come with Windows 11. In the new foldable smartphone of the tech company, improvements have been seen in the camera, processor and display compared to the previous model. At the same time, the design of the smartphone is almost the same as the previous model.
Microsoft Duo 2
This foldable smartphone will be made available for sale from October 5. It comes in three storage options – 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB and 8GB RAM + 512GB. Its base 128GB model costs $1,499 (approximately Rs 1,10,660). At the same time, the other two models come for $1,599 (approximately Rs 1,18,041) and $1,799 (approximately Rs 1,32,806) respectively. This foldable smartphone will be available in Obsidian and Glacier color options.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has two 5.8-inch displays with a resolution of 2754×1896 pixels and supports 90Hz high refresh rate. Adding both the displays together makes it an 8.3-inch display. Apart from this, a slightly curved design is seen on the edge of the display. This flagship foldable smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It has a customized UI of Microsoft based on the Android 11 operating system.
Triple rear camera setup is available in the back of this foldable smartphone. All three of its cameras are 12MP, including a wide angle lens, an ultra wide angle lens, and a telephoto lens. It supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). A 12MP camera sensor has also been given in the front of the phone. Microsoft claims that it is the world’s thinnest foldable device. It offers connectivity features like latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G network and NFC.
