Infinix introduced the phone on Thursday with a single RAM and storage variant and pricing that undercuts most rivals in its class. The Infinix Smart 5 was launched in the country at Rs 7,199. It goes on sale through Flipkart at 12 noon on February 18.

The phone is built around a large 6.82-inch HD+ display with a 1640x720 pixel resolution and a tall 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It also supports Eye Care Mode to ease strain during long sessions.
