The Samsung Galaxy A12 48MP is a new budget smartphone built around a 48-megapixel main camera and a large 5,000mAh battery. Samsung launched the phone in South Korea, where the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model is priced at KRW 275,000 (about 18 thousand rupees). The company could also bring it to India in the coming days, potentially at a lower price.

Photography is handled by a quad rear camera setup led by the 48-megapixel wide-angle lens. It is joined by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, an 8-megapixel camera takes care of selfies.
The phone uses a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V TFT LCD panel, giving it a roomy screen for browsing, streaming and everyday apps.
Performance, storage and battery
Under the hood sits a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, paired here with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In some countries, Samsung has also offered the handset in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. Storage is expandable via microSD, with support for cards up to 1TB.
Keeping everything running is the 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15-watt fast charging. That combination is aimed at buyers who want all-day endurance without a premium price.
