The Samsung Galaxy M12 is official, arriving as an upgraded successor to last year's Galaxy M11. It pairs a quad-camera setup with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a large 6000mAh battery, making it a budget-friendly all-rounder for buyers who want long battery life and flexible photography. The phone launched first in Vietnam, with no India release confirmed yet.

Buyers get a choice of memory configurations: 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, paired with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a memory card.

A 6000mAh battery anchors the phone, with Samsung claiming up to 58 hours of backup on a 4G network. The device weighs 221 grams.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is built into the power button.
Price and colours
Samsung has not announced a price for the Galaxy M12 yet. The phone is currently available in Vietnam in three finishes: Attractive Black, Elephant Blue and Trendy Emerald Green.
