The Amazfit GTS 2e and the Amazfit GTR 2e are heading to India, bringing long battery life and a full set of health-tracking tools to the brand's affordable smartwatch range. Made by Huami, China's well-known wearables manufacturer, both models already went on sale in China last month and arrive in India this month. Amazfit watches sell strongly in India, where the brand has built a reputation for capable hardware at lower prices.
Amazfit GTS 2e and Amazfit GTR 2e price and colours
In China, the Amazfit GTS 2e and Amazfit GTR 2e launched with a price tag of over Rs 9000. Huami positions the pair as upgraded versions of the earlier Amazfit GTS 2 and Amazfit GTR 2.
Buyers get a choice of finishes on each model:
- GTS 2e: Obsidian Black, Dark Night Green and Roland Purple
- GTR 2e: Obsidian Black, Dolphin Gray and Ice Lake Green
Display and battery specifications
The two watches take different design routes. The GTS 2e uses a 1.39-inch rectangular display with a 454x454 pixel resolution, while the GTR 2e opts for a 1.65-inch circular AMOLED screen at 348x442 pixels.
Battery life is a headline strength on both. The GTS 2e packs a 246mAh cell that Huami rates at 24 days in basic watch mode and 14 days in sports mode on a single charge. The GTR 2e carries a larger 471mAh battery, claimed to last up to 45 days in basic mode and 24 days in sports mode.

Health and connectivity features
Both smartwatches are loaded with health sensors, including a blood oxygen monitor, a heart rate monitor, sleep and activity tracking, and Huami's BioTracker PPG sensor. Each watch has 4GB of internal memory and pairs with your smartphone to deliver call alerts, notifications, SMS and other alerts.
