The Realme Q2 could arrive in India soon, after the smartphone surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The BIS listing usually signals an imminent local launch, though Realme has not yet confirmed any official date or pricing for India.
Realme Q2 India launch hints
The strongest clue comes from tipster Mukul Sharma, who shared a picture on Twitter showing a new Realme phone on the BIS listing with the model number RMX2117. That model number is tied to the Realme Q2, which Sharma says points to an India launch in the near future.
The Realme Q2 first appeared in China in October alongside the Realme Q2 Pro. In Britain, the same phone was sold under a different name, the Realme 7 5G.
Realme Q2 price expectations
Pricing in India has not been announced, but the Chinese figures give a useful guide. There, the phone launched in two variants:
- 4GB RAM with 128GB storage for 1,299 Chinese Yuan (around Rs 14,600).
- 6GB RAM with 128GB storage for 1,399 Chinese Yuan (around Rs 15,800).
The India price is expected to land in a similar range, though this remains an expectation rather than confirmed information.
