The Samsung AirDresser is set to arrive in India soon, marking a fresh product category for the South Korean electronics maker. This clothing-care cabinet uses powerful jets of air to refresh garments at home, and it would join a Samsung lineup in India that already spans smartphones, smart TVs, wearables, fridges, washing machines, air conditioners and laptops. It falls into the daily-use category aimed at everyday convenience.
What the Samsung AirDresser does
The device is built to rapidly refresh clothes you wear regularly, without a traditional wash. It runs on Jet Air system technology and houses three air hangers, where garments are cleaned using powerful jets.
According to the company, those jets are strong enough to remove all dust particles from clothing. A heat pump then dries the clothes at a low temperature, which helps avoid damage to the fabric.

The AirDresser was launched in the UK in November and goes on sale there from 23 January through Samsung's official e-commerce channel. In the UK it is priced at GBP 1,999 (around Rs 1,98,000) and comes in a single color option, crystal mirror. The product is made by Samsung.
