Axon 20 5G, world’s first ‘invisible’ selfie camera phone, launched in the global market

The technology related to smartphones is changing rapidly and in addition to the foldable display, innovations related to the camera are being made continuously. In order to give users a smooth full-screen experience without any punch-holes or notches, companies are offering pop-up selfie camera setups. At the same time, many companies including Xiaomi and Nokia are working on the under-display camera. With this tech, ZTE Axon 20 5G was launched by Chinese company ZTE Axon 20 5G in China. It is available for sale in the Chinese market but it was not yet announced in the Global market. ZTE has also opened a reservation for Axon 20 5G in the global market. The company has indicated that limited units will only be available for sale.

High-refresh rate display

Buyers can register for this device from 11 countries of the world including the United Kingdom, South Korea, Malaysia and UAE. The price of Axon 20 5G has not been revealed on the company’s official website yet, but it can be screened before shipping. The phone has a 6.92-inch OLED display, which comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is no punch hole or notch cutout in this display with a full-screen view and its resolution is 2460×1080 pixels. The display that supports 10-bit color depth offers a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

Apart from the under-display camera, the ZTE Axon 20 5G has an ultra-thin design and the phone’s thickness is only 7.98mm. Under-screen speaker and under-screen fingerprint scanner are also given in the device weighing 198 grams. With Snapdragon 765G processor, it gets up to 8 GB of RAM and a 4220mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The rear panel offers an 8 megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a quad-camera setup with a 2-megapixel macro lens. Its under-display selfie camera is 32 megapixels.
