Fujifilm X-S10 features and specifications
At the heart of the camera is the 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, working alongside the X-Processor 4. Together they deliver high-speed autofocus using 2.16 million phase detection pixels, and Fujifilm claims the system can lock focus in as little as 0.02 seconds in some cases.
A vari-angle LCD monitor can rotate and flip forward 180 degrees, making it useful for self-recording and vlogging. A Live View function adds three Boost modes: Low Light Priority, Resolution Priority, and Frame Rate Priority. There is also an AUTO/SP (Scene Position) mode that adjusts settings automatically.
In-body image stabilisation
The newly developed IBIS mechanism is said to be roughly 30 percent smaller in volume and weight than the previous model, while still delivering five-axis stabilisation. Fujifilm says the X-S10 is the first mid-range X-Series camera to use a motion sensor retention mechanism, a mechanical shock absorber that guards against slight vibrations from the shutter unit.
Video capabilities
On the video side, the camera records sharp 4K footage and can also capture high-speed full-HD video at 240fps. According to the company, it generates 4K video from data equivalent to 6K, helping keep the footage high in resolution and low in noise.
