The Samsung Galaxy A70 is getting the One UI 2.5 update in India, bringing the November 2020 Android security patch and a handful of camera and software refinements. The rollout follows an earlier release in Ukraine the previous week. Owners can download the update over the air and start using the new features right away.
What the One UI 2.5 update brings to the Samsung Galaxy A70
The update arrives in India as firmware version A705GMDDU5CTK4, according to a Sam Mobile report. It is roughly 1.23 GB in size and is built on Android 10.
On the camera side, video recording has been improved in the Super Steady mode. The update also adds GPS improvement for more reliable location tracking.
Beyond the core fixes, One UI 2.5 introduces several user-facing features:
- Bitmoji stickers
- Always On Display
- A new split keyboard mode

How to install the update
You can install it by tapping the upgrade notification when it appears. If the notification has not arrived yet, open Settings, then Software update, then Download and install, and check for the update manually.
