Updates for OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 7T released, new features and many improvements

OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 7T have received new updates, which bring some new features and improvements for the latest 8T smartphones and the November 2020 security patch for the older 7T. OnePlus 8T has got OxygenOS version 11.0.5.6, while OnePlus 7T has got OxygenOS 10.3.7 in India. The update has been shared by the company on its official OnePlus forums. OnePlus 8T has received several updates this month and this time the new update addresses some of the problems that users were facing for some time.

The OxygenOS 11.0.5.6 update for OnePlus 8T brings system improvements, camera fixes and network improvements. The fingerprint registration and recognition experience have been improved. The media file-scanning feature has been improved for faster searching. System power consumption has also been optimized to increase battery life. Even after uninstalling the app, the problem of ‘app cache’ not being deleted has also been fixed. In some cases, the phone screen used to flash while using fingerprint unlock and this has been fixed with the update.

The camera white balance is optimized and imaging quality is also fixed. Network connection stability has been optimized to improve gaming connections. The update also improves the stability of video calls.

OnePlus 7T OxygenOS 10.3.7 changelog

The new update for OnePlus 7T fixes problems with the status bar during a call. In addition, the update updates the GMS package to 2020.08 and fixes the flashback issue with the phone app. It comes with the November 2020 Android Security Patch.
