Vivo has added a new smartphone, the Vivo Y600k Turbo, to
its Y600 series. The company quietly listed the phone without a major launch
event. The phone's standout feature is its massive 9,020mAh battery,
accompanied by 90W fast charging and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.
Additionally, it boasts an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB of
RAM, and 256GB of storage.
The Vivo Y600k Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display
with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a
touch sampling rate of 130Hz. The screen supports 10.7 billion colors and
includes 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The display's
local peak brightness is rated at up to 5,000 nits.
For performance, the Vivo Y600k Turbo is powered by the
Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS
3.1 storage. The highlight is the 9,020mAh battery, which supports 90W wired
fast charging. While the phone lacks wireless charging, it offers a reverse
charging option via the USB Type-C port. It is worth noting that 9,020mAh
represents the typical capacity, while the rated capacity is 8,820mAh. For
photography, the phone features a 50MP main camera on the back, accompanied by
a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front camera is provided for selfies and video
calls. The rear camera supports video recording up to 4K resolution, while the
front camera supports recording up to 1080p.
The Vivo Y600k Turbo runs on Android 16 based on OriginOS 6.
It includes an under-display optical fingerprint sensor. The phone also comes
with features such as dual speakers, an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth
5.2. It holds IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
According to Vivo, the device uses durable glass and has passed eight
military-standard environmental tests.
The Vivo Y600k Turbo has currently been introduced in a
12GB+256GB variant. It is priced at 2,799 Yuan, which translates to approximately
₹40,200 in Indian currency. The phone is available in Electric Blue, Dune Gold,
and Millennial Pink color options. There is currently no information regarding
a launch in India or markets outside China.
