Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
globally, including in India, at its 'Surprise and Shine' event. Both the
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are powered by the Apple A20 Pro chipset
and feature the company's in-house C2 modem. The design of the 18 Pro and Pro
Max models has undergone significant changes. Let’s take a detailed look at the

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Pricing
The iPhone 18 Pro is priced at ₹1,64,900 for the 256GB
variant, ₹1,89,900 for the 512GB variant, ₹2,39,900 for the 1TB variant, and
₹3,14,900 for the 2TB variant. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is priced at
₹1,79,900 for the 256GB variant, ₹2,04,900 for the 512GB variant, ₹2,54,900 for
the 1TB variant, and ₹3,29,900 for the 2TB variant. Pre-orders for these
iPhones begin on September 12, with sales starting on September 18. The new
iPhones are available in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy color options.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Specifications
The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED
display, while the 18 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED
display; both offer a resolution of 1320×2868 pixels, a peak brightness of
1,600 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. These iPhones are powered by Apple's
latest, top-of-the-line A20 Pro processor. This 2nm-generation chip houses a
6-core CPU and a 7-core GPU, accompanied by the company's new in-house C2
modem. Both models run on the iOS 27 operating system and incorporate Apple's
AI-enhanced Siri. Additionally, a next-generation vapor chamber is included for
thermal management. The company promises superior battery life this time, with
support for fast wired charging. Photography features include "Photographic
Styles" with texture control and reference images. They also feature a
redesigned Dynamic Island capable of displaying three Live Activities
simultaneously. The company offers "Pro Control" capabilities. The
new iPhones are available in Burgundy, Deep Black, Glacier Blue, and Silver
color options.
Regarding the camera setup, both the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max
feature a rear array comprising a 48-megapixel Fusion primary camera with
variable aperture, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 48-megapixel
telephoto camera. An 18-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies and
video calls. Apple has retained the "Camera Control" feature,
offering users a dedicated way to manage camera functions and adjust settings
while shooting. The 18 Pro offers up to 36 hours of video playback on a single
charge, while the 18 Pro Max provides up to 45 hours of video playback.
Meanwhile, the 18 Pro offers 24 hours of battery life on a single charge,
whereas the 18 Pro Max can be used for up to 30 hours. However, the company has
not yet disclosed details regarding the battery and RAM.
