Vivo has launched its new Vivo S2 smartphone in India. The
phone comes with features such as a 7050mAh battery, a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED
display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Additionally, the device boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water
resistance.
The Vivo S2 is available in Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and
Silk White color options. Pre-bookings are currently open, and sales will begin
on August 11. The phone has been launched in two variants: the 8GB+128GB
configuration is priced at ₹39,999, while the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at
₹44,999.
There are also introductory offers, including a one-year extended
warranty for purchases made via the company's official portal. Furthermore,
customers can avail of a ₹4,500 exchange bonus, as well as a discount of ₹4,500
on EMI transactions and ₹2,250 on full-swipe transactions using HDFC Bank, Axis
Bank, or SBI Bank credit cards.
The Vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a
resolution of 1260×2800 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a
local peak brightness of 3000 nits. It also includes an in-display optical
fingerprint sensor. The phone is equipped with a 7050mAh battery that supports
44W FlashCharge fast charging.
For performance, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek
Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB
of UFS 3.1 storage. The company has also included support for up to 8GB of
extended RAM, allowing for the use of additional virtual RAM when needed.
For photography, the Vivo S2 features a 50MP primary camera
and a 2MP secondary sensor. Meanwhile, it sports a 32MP front camera for selfies
and video calling.
Connectivity options on the Vivo S2 include Dual 5G, Wi-Fi
5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, OTG, GPS, and GLONASS. Additionally, the phone
holds IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering superior protection against dust and
water. It measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs between 197g and 199g,
depending on the variant.
