Lenovo has launched the Legion R9000P as its latest gaming
laptop. The brand claims it is the world's first gaming laptop to feature an inkjet-printed
OLED display, also known as an IJP OLED display. This is an advanced display
manufacturing technology where liquid light-emitting material is sprayed onto
glass or plastic using microscopic inkjet nozzles. This process eliminates the
need for expensive vacuum evaporation equipment and metal masks, resulting in
faster production and lower costs. The Legion R9000P features a 16-inch screen
with a 240Hz refresh rate. Let’s take a look at its key features.

Lenovo Legion R9000P Gaming Laptop Specifications
The Lenovo Legion R9000P gaming laptop comes with a 16-inch
OLED display featuring a 240Hz refresh rate. According to the company, it is
the world's first gaming laptop to utilize an inkjet-printed OLED display. The
laptop offers 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. To ensure superior image
quality, the screen employs a "Real RGB stripe" design with a
side-by-side sub-pixel arrangement. This prevents the text blurring and color
fringing often caused by the triangular sub-pixel layouts found in standard
OLED displays, resulting in sharper text and clearer images. As mentioned
earlier, the gaming laptop offers 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
Consequently, color performance remains consistent and stable across all
brightness levels. It effectively caters to professional design needs,
audio-visual entertainment, and various other requirements. While the company
has not yet disclosed the full specifications, the introduction of an IJP OLED
display in a gaming laptop is clearly set to elevate gaming devices to a new level.
