Oppo has launched its new Oppo Reno 16 series in the Indian
market. Under this series, the company has introduced the Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo
Reno 16c smartphones. Both phones run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and
feature 80W fast charging, a 50MP selfie camera, and various AI capabilities.
Additionally, both devices come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings,
offering superior protection against dust and water.
The Oppo Reno 16 is priced at ₹61,999 for the 8GB + 256GB
variant, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹67,999. Meanwhile, the
Oppo Reno 16c 5G is priced at ₹46,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹49,999 for
the 8GB + 256GB variant, and ₹55,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Both smartphones will be available for sale starting July 9,
2026, on Amazon, Flipkart, the OPPO E-store, and major retail outlets. They
will be available in Starry White, Stellar Purple, and Twilight Violet color
options.
Regarding launch offers, customers can avail up to 10%
cashback on select bank credit cards and UPI transactions, zero down payment
EMI options for up to 18 months, an exchange bonus of up to ₹5,000, and 180
days of screen damage protection. Furthermore, purchasing the Reno 16 series
entitles buyers to a discount of up to 50% on the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro+. The
Oppo Reno 16 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired
with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the other hand, the
Reno 16c features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, LPDDR4X RAM, and up to
256GB of internal storage. There are differences in the display as well; the
Reno 16 sports a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, while the Reno 16c comes with a
6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Both smartphones support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The peak brightness is 1,800 nits for the Reno 16 and 1,400 nits for the Reno
16c.
For photography, the Oppo Reno 16 is equipped with a 50MP
Sony LYT-600 primary camera featuring OIS support, accompanied by a 50MP
ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. While the Reno 16c shares the
same primary and telephoto cameras, it comes with an 8MP ultra-wide camera
instead. Both smartphones feature a 50MP front camera for selfies and video
calling.
Both the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c include in-display
fingerprint sensors and face unlock features. Regarding the battery, the Oppo
Reno 16 houses a 6,700mAh battery, whereas the Reno 16c packs a larger 7,000mAh
battery. Both phones support 80W wired fast charging.
For connectivity, both smartphones support 5G, 4G LTE,
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, and more. Both devices run on ColorOS
16, based on Android 16. The Reno 16 has a thickness of 8.22mm and weighs 182
grams, while the Reno 16c has a thickness of 8.44mm and weighs 192 grams.
