Vivo has launched its new budget smartphone, the Vivo Y6a,
in China. The company has equipped this phone with a massive 7200mAh battery
that supports 44W fast charging. Additionally, the smartphone features the
Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a 120Hz display, and a 50MP rear camera.
The company claims the battery is designed to maintain optimal performance for
up to six years.
The Vivo Y6a has been launched in China in an 8GB RAM +
256GB storage variant. It is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately ₹27,750). It
will be available in Galaxy Silver, Obsidian Black, and Phoenix Gold color
options. As of now, the company has not shared any information regarding its
launch in India.
The Vivo Y6a sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display that
supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The
smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with
8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. According to the company, the
RAM can be expanded up to 16GB using the virtual RAM feature.
The phone houses a 7200mAh battery that supports 44W fast
charging. The company claims the battery can last for approximately 1,800
charge cycles and maintain its performance for up to six years. The smartphone
runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
For photography, the Vivo Y6a features a 50MP rear camera
and an 8MP front camera. Additionally, the phone features a side-mounted
fingerprint sensor rather than an in-display one, along with face unlock, dual
SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB Type-C port. According to the
company, the smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing protection
against water and dust.
