Tecno Megabook S16 Specifications and Design
The Tecno Megabook S16 is TECNO's first 16-inch flagship laptop, and the specs reflect that ambition. The display is a 16-inch FullHD+ panel that provides ample screen real estate for productivity and multimedia. Despite the large screen, the laptop keeps its footprint slim — measuring just 14.9 mm thin and tipping the scales at only 1.3 kg, making it genuinely portable for a machine of its class.
Under the hood sits an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor with 14 cores and 20 threads, capable of Turbo Boost speeds up to 5.4 GHz. The chip also brings Intel Arc graphics and NPU AI acceleration support, laying the hardware foundation for the laptop's extensive AI feature set.
AI Features: What the Tecno Megabook S16 Laptop Can Do
TECNO's "Mega Leap with AI" theme is not just marketing. The Megabook S16 integrates an offline AI model based on DeepSeek-V3, which means the core AI capabilities work without an internet connection — a meaningful advantage for privacy-conscious users and those working in areas with poor connectivity. This model essentially gives users a personal on-device GPT experience.
The laptop ships with five built-in AI tools:
- AI Gallery — intelligent photo and media management
- AI Meeting Assistant — real-time assistance during video calls and meetings
- AI PPT — AI-assisted presentation creation
- AI Drawing — generative drawing and image tools
OneLeap Cross-Device Connectivity
One of the standout software features is OneLeap, TECNO's cross-device collaboration platform. OneLeap lets the Megabook S16 pair with smartphones and tablets so users can share screens, transfer files, and collaborate in real time across devices. This kind of tight ecosystem integration is increasingly common among premium laptop makers, and TECNO's implementation targets users who move fluidly between devices throughout their day.
Tecno Megabook S16 Price and Availability
TECNO has not yet disclosed the official price for the Megabook S16. The laptop was introduced at COMPUTEX 2025 alongside the Tecno Megabook S14, and pricing details are expected to be shared closer to market availability. Prospective buyers will want to keep an eye on TECNO's official channels for announcements.
About the Tecno Megabook S14
Launched alongside the S16, the Tecno Megabook S14 takes a different approach. It features a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution and is claimed to be the world's lightest laptop in its class, weighing an extraordinary 898 grams. The S14 is aimed at ultra-mobile users who prioritize weight above all else, while the S16 targets those who want a larger screen without sacrificing portability.
