Huawei launches foldable smartphone Pura X, 6.3-inch internal display
Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched the foldable smartphone Pura X. This clamshell style foldable smartphone brought to China has a 6.3-inch inner display. It has a 3.5-inch external screen. Pura X has up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. This smartphone has a triple camera unit.
Price of Pura X
The price of this smartphone’s 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant is CNY 7,499 (about Rs 89,300), 12 GB + 512 GB is CNY 7,999 (about Rs 95,600). Pre-booking for this has started in China. This smartphone is available in White, Grey, Red and Black colors. Huawei has also introduced a collector’s edition of this smartphone. It has a three-color design on the back cover and satellite communication feature. The Pura X Collector’s Edition 16 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs. 1,07,400) and the 16 GB + 1 TB variant is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,19,100).
Pura X Specifications
This foldable smartphone runs on HarmonyOS 5.0.1. It has a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO 2.0 internal screen (1,320 x 2,120 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Huawei has not revealed the processor details. This smartphone has a 3.5-inch external display (980 × 980 pixels) with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. Both its screens have high-frequency PWM dimming of 1,440 Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 300 Hz. The triple camera unit of this smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide angle macro camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Its internal screen has a 10.7-megapixel camera.
It has options of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, NavIC, GPS and USB Type-C port for connectivity. It has ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, gesture sensor, gravity sensor, hall sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor as sensors. The 4,720 mAh battery of this smartphone supports 66 W wired and 40 W wireless charging.
