Samsung launches Galaxy A06 5G, 6.7 inch display, know price, specifications
South Korean smartphone maker Samsung’s Galaxy A06 5G has been launched in India. This smartphone has a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Last year, the 4G version of Galaxy A06 was introduced.
The price of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant of Galaxy A06 5G is Rs 10,499, 128 GB storage variant is Rs 11,499 and 6 GB + 128 GB variant is Rs 12,499. This smartphone is available in Light Green, Grey and Black colors. On purchasing this smartphone, one year screen replacement offer will be available for Rs 129 through Samsung Care +. For this, four years of OS upgrades and security updates will be available.
This smartphone has a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has MediaTek Dimensity 6300 as the processor. Its RAM can be expanded up to 12 GB virtually. This smartphone has a dual rear camera unit. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel camera. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The 5,000 mAh battery of this smartphone supports 25 W wired charging. Recently Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series. This smartphone series has received more than 4.3 lakh pre-orders. It has surpassed Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series in terms of pre-orders. The new smartphone series includes Galaxy 25, Galaxy S25 + and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The company’s unit in the country had said that the Galaxy S25 series is in great demand among young customers. These smartphones are being manufactured at Samsung’s Noida factory in Uttar Pradesh. Features related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) have been given in the Galaxy S25 series. These are also the first commercial devices to feature Snapdragon Satellite technology. This will give users satellite connectivity. With this feature, users will be able to send and receive messages via satellite using Narrowband (NB) along with Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). However, for this Samsung will have to activate satellite connectivity with a software update.
