ASUS has launched its new laptop series Chromebook CR. The company has designed it specifically for school students. The company claims that the laptops of the series are very strong in build. Their parts can be replaced. Many rugged features have been provided by the company so that they can last for years. The laptops have been introduced in 11.6 inch and 12.2 inch display sizes. These have been given MIL-STD-810H military grade certification. Let’s know about all their special features.

ASUS Chromebook CR Series Features

The ASUS Chromebook CR series laptops have been introduced in 11.6 inch and 12.2 inch models. They also have the option of 180 degree lay-flat, or 360 degree flip hinge. The laptops are equipped with Intel N150 and N250 chipsets. They have a touch screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. This display supports WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. It also has TÜV Rheinland certification.

For connectivity, they support WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and optional 4G LTE. They support up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. Talking about the camera, the laptop has a 13MP sensor. It has built-in speakers and microphone support as well.

These laptops of the Chromebook CR series have USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports. Along with this, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are available. Audio jack is also present here. The company has also provided support for optional stylus with the laptop. They have a modular design which makes it easier to repair them and replace parts.
