HUAWEI launches new smartwatch WATCH GT 5, battery will last for 14 days on a single charge

HUAWEI has launched its new smartwatch HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 in the Indian market. It was introduced globally last month. This smartwatch comes in 41mm and 46mm models, in which the option of 1.32 inch and 1.43 inch AMOLED display is available. The Watch GT 5 Series comes with 11 new watch face themes. Huawei Watch GT 5 Price

The starting price of HUAWEI Watch GT 5 is Rs 15,999. Available for pre-order via Flipkart with sale starting October 20. With bank and coupon offers the effective price will be Rs 15,499. HUAWEI Watch GT 5 41mm Black/Blue/White Fluoroelastomer/Leather Strap is priced at Rs 15,999. HUAWEI Watch GT 5 46 mm Black with Fluoroelastomer Strap/Fabric, Blue with Silicone Strap is priced at Rs 16,999. HUAWEI Watch GT 5 41mm Gold with Stainless Steel Strap is priced at Rs 21,999.

Huawei Watch 5 Specifications

HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 46mm features a 1.43-inch AMOLED color display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a PPI of 326. Whereas 41mm has a 1.32 inch AMOLED color display, whose resolution is 466 × 466 pixels and PPI 352. This watch is equipped with accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, magnetometer sensor, optical heart rate sensor, barometer sensor, temperature sensor and ambient light sensor. It has speaker and mic for Bluetooth calling.

This watch comes with 100+ sports modes, including Pro Sport Mode Golf, Diving, Trail Run. You can download apps from HUAWEI App Gallery. ECG analyses, women’s health, sleep analyzes and pulse wave arrhythmia analyzes are included. It has a home button and side button in the rotating crown. It works on Android 9.0 or higher and iOS 13.0 or higher. This watch is equipped with 5 ATM and IP69K rating. This watch supports Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and NFC.

Talking about battery backup, the 46mm can last up to 14 days on a single charge with maximum usage, up to 9 days with regular usage and up to 5 days with Always On Display. Whereas the 41mm lasts for 7 days on a single charge with maximum usage, 5 days with regular usage and 3 days with Always On Display.
