Redmi Pad Pro launched, 12.1 inch display, 10,000mAh battery

Chinese consumer electronics company Redmi has launched Pad Pro with Redmi Turbo 3. This tablet has Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC as its processor. Its 10,000 mAh battery is with support for fast charging. It is in three colors and Harry Potter edition. It has been brought to China.

Last year the company had introduced Redmi Pad. However, Redmi has not confirmed the launch of the Pad Pro in India. The price of 6 GB + 128 GB variant of Redmi Pad Pro is CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,300), 8 GB + 128 GB is priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 18,400) and 8 GB + 256 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 20,700). Its sale will start from April 15. It will be available in Smoke Green, Dark Gray and Shallow Blue Bay colors. The price of Harry Potter edition of this tablet is CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 26,500). It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Specifications of Redmi Pad Pro

The tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Its storage can be expanded up to 1.5 TB via microSD card. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front with an ultra-wide lens. Both these cameras record video up to 1080p at 30 frames per second (fps).

Its 10,000mAh battery supports 33 W wired fast charging. It has four stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. This tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port options for connectivity. Its size is 280 mm x 181.85 mm x 7.52 mm and weight is approximately 571 grams. Redmi sales have increased rapidly in the last few years. The company is getting strong demand in the mid-range of smartphones. It is also increasing its share in the tablet segment.
