Acer launches Swift Go 14 laptop with Intel Core Ultra 7
Devices maker Acer has launched Swift Go 14 in India with Intel’s new AI Core Ultra processors. These processors are with Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This is the Intel Evo Edition platform model. This Taiwanese company has claimed some other improvements along with fast charging. Late last year, this laptop was introduced in North America with some different specifications.
Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-72T) has been made available in pure silver shade. Its price with Intel Core Ultra 5 CPU is Rs 84,990 and Core Ultra 7 variant is priced at Rs 99,990. This laptop can be purchased only through Flipkart.
This laptop features a 14-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 12,000 pixels) IPS LED touchscreen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness level of 400 nits. It is available in two processor options – Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. It comes with Intel Arc GPU, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. Intel’s new Core Ultra processors come with an integrated AI engine. The company claims that its performance is 47 percent better than the previous model.
The updated Acer Swift Go 14 features a 1,440p QHD webcam with Acer’s PurifiedVoice technology. It comes with Wi-Fi and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio connectivity. Its three cell 65 W battery is claimed to last for 12.5 hours. It supports 100 W charging through USB Type-C port. Another Taiwanese devices company, Asus, launched the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) laptop late last year. The company had described it as a premium ultraportable laptop. Asus claims that apart from the sleek design of this laptop, its durability is of America’s military grade. It has an Intel Core Ultra processor with built-in Intel Arc graphics. Intel Core Ultra processors have specialized neural processing units (NPUs) that support offline AI functions. The company has claimed that the battery of this laptop will last more than 15 hours.
