HMD Global is soon going to bring a new affordable smartphone Nokia G42 5G under the G-series. This smartphone has recently been seen on the Geekbench website, in which Qualcomm processor will be given with Android 13. This month, Nokia has introduced several smartphones in the US, including the Rugged XR21. Here we are telling you in detail about Nokia G42 5G.

Nokia G42 has recently appeared on Geekbench, where some of its specifications have been revealed. The smartphone was listed on the benchmarking site with a quad core Qualcomm processor with 1.90GHz base frequency. There is also a fast cluster of 2 cores clocked at 2.21 Ghz. Although, the exact name of this processor is not known, it could be a lower mid-range SoC.


The Nokia G42 scored 738 in the single-core test and 1718 in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing has revealed that the smartphone packs at least 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 software. All this information has been received from the current listing.


The previous report claimed that the Nokia G42 will also have 128GB built-in storage variant with 6GB of RAM. The resolution of the display given in the phone can be 1612 x 720 pixels. This phone will be available in Purple and Gray color options. There is no information about other features of the smartphone yet, but more information can be found in the coming days.


Let us tell you that Nokia recently introduced the rugged XR21 smartphone in the US with MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability, IP68-rated waterproofing and IP69K-certification dust resistance. Nokia XR21 has Snapdragon 695 processor which is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
