Smartphone brand Lenovo has launched its new Lenovo Tab M9 in India. The tablet has been introduced in a dual-tone design with a metal body. The tab supports facial unlocking. Lenovo Tab M9 comes with MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which has been introduced with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos are supported with the tab. Lenovo Tab M9 has been introduced in Frost Blue and Storm Gray color options. The price of the tab has been kept at Rs 12,999. Its sale will start from June 1 on Amazon India, Flipkart and Lenovo.com. The Lenovo Tab M9 will also be made available through offline retail channels.

Lenovo’s Tab M9 runs on Android 12 and the company is going to provide three years of security updates and one year of Android OS updates for the tablet. Lenovo Tab M9 flaunts a 9-inch HD LCD TFT display with 400 nits peak brightness and (800 x 1,340 pixels) resolution.
The display has also received TUV Rheinland eye care certification. The tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. At the same time, there is support for 64 GB storage with it. Which can be further increased through microSD card (up to 128GB).

Lenovo Tab M9 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 2-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. It comes preloaded with Google One, Google TV, Netflix and YouTube Kids. Talking about the tab’s connectivity options, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a headphone port, and a USB Type-C port are included. The tab also supports Face Unlock feature for authentication.

Lenovo Tab M9 has support for 5,100mAh battery and 15W fast charging. Regarding the battery, the company claims that it provides up to 13 hours of video playback time, up to 15 hours of music playback and up to 12 hours of web browsing time on a single charge.
