Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched two new low budget smartphones Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ in the Indian market. This is the first Redmi device launched in the market after actor Pankaj Tripathi became the Redmi brand ambassador. Redmi A2 Price
The Redmi A2 smartphone has been launched in India in three memory variants. Its base model has 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, which costs Rs 5,999. Similarly, the price of 2 GB RAM + 64 GB memory variant is Rs 6,499 and the rate of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant is Rs 7,499.
Redmi A2+ Price
Similarly, Redmi A2 Plus has been launched in the Indian market in a single memory variant with 64GB of internal storage with 4GB of RAM. The price of this variant is Rs.8,499. Both these Redmi phones will be available for purchase from May 23, which will be available in Sea Green, Aqua Blue and Classic Black colours.
Specifications of Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+
Screen: The Redmi A2 and A2 Plus smartphones have been introduced at 20:9 aspect ratio, which supports 6.52-inch HD+ screen with 1600 x 720 pixel resolution. The company has named it Dot Drop Display. Its three sides are bezel-less and there is a slight chin part at the bottom.
Processor: These Redmi phones have been launched on Android 13 ‘Go Edition’ which run on MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor with 2.2 GHz clock speed. In these, LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 ROM technology has been given. Notably, the new Redmi mobiles also support 3GB of virtual RAM, which expands the existing 4GB to 7GB.
Camera: Xiaomi Redmi A2 and A2+ smartphone supports dual rear camera for photography. An 8-megapixel primary sensor with F / 2.0 aperture has been given on the back panel of the phone, which works in conjunction with the secondary AI lens. Similarly, for selfie and video calling, this phone has a 5 megapixel front camera with F / 2.2 aperture.
Battery: A large battery of 5,000 mAh has been given for power backup in Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 +. Along with this, this mobile phone supports 10W fast charging technology.
Security: Redmi A2 smartphone where Face Unlock feature is supported. At the same time, rear fingerprint sensor has also been given in Redmi A2 +.
