Google I / O 2023: Google launched its first foldable phone, will compete with these smartphones, know the features

Google has launched Google Pixel Fold at its Google I/O 2023 event. Pixel 7a has also been launched in this event, which is an upgraded version of Pixel 6a. Google Pixel Fold is the company’s first foldable phone. Leaked reports were coming out about Google Pixel Fold for a long time, but now the company has put an end to it by launching the phone. Google has given its Tensor G2 processor with Google Pixel Fold. Apart from this, triple rear camera setup has been given in the phone with Android 13. 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB of storage have been provided with Google Pixel Fold. Pixel Fold will compete with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, Oppo Find N2 Flip and Huawei Mate X2 in the market of foldable phones.

The starting price of Google Pixel Fold is $ 1,799 i.e. around Rs 1,47,500. At this price, 256 GB storage model will be available, while the price of 512 GB model of Google Pixel Fold has been kept at $ 1,919 i.e. around Rs 1,57,300. Google Pixel Fold can be purchased in obsidian and porcelain color. Google Pixel Fold customers will get Pixel Watch for free. There is currently no news about the sale of Google Pixel Fold in India in the Indian market.

Google Pixel Fold will get Android 13. The phone has a 7.6-inch primary display with an aspect ratio of 6:5. The refresh rate of the display is 120Hz. The second display is a 5.8-inch Full HD Plus OLED with an aspect ratio of 17.4:9. Its refresh rate is also 120Hz. There is protection of Gorilla Glass Victus on the display. The display inside has a plastic coating. Google Pixel Fold has Google’s Tensor G2 processor and Titan M2 has been given as a security chip. The phone will get updates for five years.

Talking about the camera of Google Pixel Fold, it has three rear cameras in which the primary lens is 48 megapixels with optical image stabilization (OIS), CLAF and its aperture is f / 1.7. The phone has a 10.8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and the third lens is also a 10.8 megapixel dual PD telephoto. With this, 5x optical zoom and 20x super rez zoom are available. For selfie, the phone has a 9.5-megapixel camera, which has an aperture f / 2.2. An 8-megapixel inner selfie camera is available in the phone. It also gets face unlock and three microphones and Google One VPN with side mounted fingerprint sensor. Google has given a 4821mAh battery in the fold phone with 30W charging support. Wireless charging is also available in this. 72 hours of standby has been claimed regarding the battery.
