The Nokia G22 repair-friendly smartphone is now official, as HMD Global has launched the Nokia G22 in partnership with iFixit — making it the first Nokia phone that lets users fix their own device at home without voiding support.
Nokia G22 Repair Features and iFixit Partnership
What sets the Nokia G22 apart from every other budget Android phone is its right-to-repair design. HMD Global partnered with iFixit to give users step-by-step guides for replacing the display, swapping out the charging port, and fixing a flat battery — all at home. Importantly, iFixit support continues even after the phone's warranty period expires, so owners are not left stranded as the device ages. This makes the Nokia G22 one of the most consumer-friendly smartphones in its price segment.

Display and Camera Performance
The Nokia G22 sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Battery Life and Connectivity
One of the Nokia G22's strongest suits is its 5050 mAh battery, which the company claims delivers up to three days of backup on a single charge. When it does need topping up, 20W fast charging keeps downtime short. Connectivity is comprehensive for the price — you get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
