MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Flagship Processor Launched, Know Features.
MediaTek has today launched its new flagship 5G mobile processor. This is MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. As the name suggests, MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor is the successor of MediaTek Dimensity 9000. In the market, this processor will compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. In addition, it is the world’s first platform to support Wi-Fi 7. This flagship processor based smartphone is going to be launched in the market soon. Let us know all the details related to it.
Features of MediaTek Dimensity 9200
Talking about the features, MediaTek Dimensity 9200 is a new 4nm based processor. It comes with 1+3+4 cluster setup. It has a Cortex-X3 Prime core, which has a clock speed of 3.05GHz. The remaining three are ARM Cortex-A715 cores with a clock speed of 2.85GHz. The last four Cortex A510 cores have a clock speed of 1.8GHz.
This CPU is paired with ARM Immortalis G715 GPU. Along with this, HyperEngine 6.0 gaming technology has been given for great and smooth gaming. This processor supports full-HD + display, which will have a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. WHQD will support refresh rates of up to 144Hz in screens and 60Hz refresh rates in 5K (2.5Kx2) displays.
This processor is the first Wi-Fi 7 ready mobile platform, which will support data rates up to 6.5Gbps.
MediaTek claims that this processor will provide best-in-class video streaming service to users with the help of MediaTek’s AI-SR / MEMC. This processor comes with AI visual cinematic display, which optimizes picture quality.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor supports LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. For connectivity, it will get support for Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 7.
Phones equipped with this flagship processor will be launched soon
Smartphones equipped with this flagship processor will be launched in the market soon. MediaTek has revealed that by the end of 2022, smartphones equipped with this processor will knock in the market. However, the chip maker company has not yet disclosed the name of the smartphone. If leaks are to be believed, then Vivo X90 series phones can be equipped with this processor.
