Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro Gaming Smartphones Launched with Dhaakad Specifications

Black Shark has launched its new gaming smartphone in China. Black Shark has launched two new gaming smartphones Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro. Both the gaming smartphones of the company have been introduced with top of the line hardware. The Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone has been introduced with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both the gaming smartphones have been introduced with 720Hz touch sampling rate display. SharkEye RGB light effect has been given in the back panel of both the smartphones. Whether or not these gaming smartphones of Black Shark will be launched in the Indian market, it is not clear at the moment. Black Shark 5 Series Price

The Black Shark 5 series smartphones are offered in multiple storage configurations and color options. The base variant of the Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage has been introduced at a price of CNY 4199 (approximately Rs 50,100). Along with this, this phone has been introduced in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants at a price of CNY 4699 (about Rs 56,100) and CNY 5499 (about Rs 65,600). This smartphone has been introduced in Black and White color.

The Black Shartge 5 smartphone has been introduced in three variants. This gaming phone has been introduced in 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. These three variants are priced at CNY 2799 (approximately Rs 33,400), CNY 2999 (approximately Rs 35,800) and CNY 3299 (approximately Rs 39,300) respectively. This smartphone has been introduced in Black, White and Gray color options.

Black Shark 5 Series Specifications

Both the Black Shark 5 series smartphones flaunt a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Black Shark’s latest smartphone has HDR10+, DC Dimming and touch sampling rate of 720Hz. Dual zone pressure sensitive display has been given in Black Shark’s gaming phone. This display is also given in iQOO 9 series. The refresh rate of the gaming phone is up to 144Hz.

Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone has been introduced with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Whereas the standard variant has been introduced with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. Vapor chamber cooling system has been given in the phone. A large thermal cooling coil has been given in the Pro model. Both these phones have been given dedicated trigger buttons, which enhance the gaming experience.

The 108MP primary camera has been given in the Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone. The primary camera is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP telephoto. 64MP primary camera has been given in the standard variant. A 2MP macro and 13MP ultrawide sensor have been given with the primary camera. Both the phones have a 16MP front camera. Talking about the battery, the phone has a 4650 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The gaming phone runs on JoyUI 13 based on Android 12.
