Realme told that Realme 9 smartphone series will not come this year, but why?
Realme launched its first tablet, the Realme Pad, on Thursday, 9 September 2021. At the same event, the company also launched two new Bluetooth speakers including the Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G smartphones. During this launch event, Realme also gave information about its next smartphone series, Realme 9.
The company said that it will launch the Realme 9 lineup in India next year, i.e. 2022. Usually Realme launches two smartphone series in a year, last year also the company launched Realme 6 and Realme 7 series. But this time the company has shifted the new number series to next year.
Why will the new Realme 9 series not come this year?
Realme has launched many products this year. Apart from the phone, Realme has launched its first laptop series Realme Book this year. The company also launched Truly Wireless earbuds and 32-inch Full HD Smart TV this year. Realme TechLife has also launched products under a new brand DIZO. In the case of smartphones too, the company has launched a lot of devices this year. Apart from the Realme 8 series, the company has also launched smartphones in the X-series, GT-series, C-series and Narzo series.
With so many options already available in every price range, perhaps the company is now looking to give some rest to the number series. With this, there are not even 4 months left for the beginning of the new year. In such a situation, perhaps when the new number series 2022 starts, it will look old. In view of all this, pushing the launch of Realme 9 series forward may prove to be a good strategy for the company.
Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G
Realme 8i is starting from Rs 13,999, which will get 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. This phone has an LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G96 processor, 50MP triple rear camera setup and 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Realme 8s 5G is starting from Rs 17,999, which will get 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. This phone has an LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, 64MP triple real camera setup and 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
