Xiaomi will offer 3 premium tablets in Mi Pad 5 series, may be equipped with 120Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset
Xiaomi has achieved good success in the smartphone segment across the world. Soon the company is now planning to enter the tablet segment. According to the information, the company can introduce the new premium “Xiaomi Mi Pad 5” tablet series later this month. It is believed that three products will be introduced in this series – Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi Pad 5 Lite.

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 Pro has reportedly received certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Talking about the specifications of Mi Pad 5, it can come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset. However, not much information about its features and specifications has been found to see.
The Mi Pad 5 Pro has reportedly surfaced on the MIIT certification site with the model number M2105K81C. The tablet’s online listing also reveals 5G support on board. Other information about the Mi Pad Pro 5 is yet to appear in the MIIT certification listing.
Possible Specifications of Mi Pad 5 Pro
This model, the M2105K81C, is the high-end Pro model with 5G connectivity, which could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. According to the leaks, there will be only one Wi-Fi model as well as a Snapdragon 860. Previous rumors had claimed that the Dimension 1200 would be used on the vanilla model instead.
The Mi Pad 5 Pro is also likely to feature an 11-inch display with 2,560×1,600 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could also include support for a stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Xiaomi is yet to officially confirm its plans regarding the new Mi Pad model. However, the rumor mill has suggested that the Mi Pad 5 models may debut soon.
