The Realme X7 Max 5G has officially launched in India, bringing a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, a stunning 120Hz Super AMOLED display, and 50W SuperDart fast charging to the mid-range segment. Starting at Rs 26,999, this phone positions itself as one of the most capable 5G handsets under Rs 30,000. It is essentially a re-branded version of the Realme GT Neo that debuted in China back in March 2021.
Realme X7 Max 5G Price and Availability
The Realme X7 Max 5G comes in two variants. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 26,999, while the top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 29,999. The phone is available in three colour options: Steroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way. Sales began on June 4 through Realme's official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores across India.
Display, Design, and Performance
The phone sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Under the hood, the Dimensity 1200 processor handles all tasks with ease, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. Realme has also integrated a stainless steel cooling system that the brand claims reduces heat by up to 42 percent during intensive use.
Realme X7 Max 5G Camera Setup
Photography is handled by a triple rear camera system. The primary shooter is a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, capable of capturing detailed shots in varied lighting conditions. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture takes care of video calls and self-portraits.
Battery, Connectivity, and Audio
Powering the device is a 4,500mAh battery with support for 50W SuperDart fast charging. Notably, Realme includes a 65W charger inside the box, giving users even more headroom for top-ups. For connectivity, the phone covers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate Dolby Atmos support and high-resolution audio certification. The handset also carries an IPX4 water-resistance rating for light splash protection.
