The Asus ZenFone 8 series has launched globally, with two phones in the lineup: the Asus ZenFone 8 and the larger ZenFone 8 Flip. The standard model has been redesigned into a compact, hand-friendly device, while the ZenFone 8 Flip keeps a look very similar to the phones Asus launched last year. Both are powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor, and the standard model goes up to 16GB of RAM.
Asus ZenFone 8 price and availability
The Asus ZenFone 8 is priced at 599 Euros, which is about 53,293 rupees. The ZenFone 8 Flip costs 799 Euros, or roughly 71,000 rupees. Asus says only the ZenFone 8 will be made available in North America, but the US price has not been shared yet. There is also no word on when either phone will launch in the Indian market. When the ZenFone 8 reaches the US, it will work only on the LTE and Sub-6 GHz 5G networks of AT&T and T-Mobile, though both phones support 5G overall.

ZenFone 8 Flip and its flip-out camera
The ZenFone 8 Flip has a larger 6.67-inch OLED display with 1080-pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, but does not have an IP rating. Its standout feature is the flip-out camera, which uses a triple rear setup that rotates to double as the selfie camera: a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Asus says the module uses a strong motor that can flip up to 300,000 times.
