Samsung Galaxy M31s gets One UI 3.1 update, many new features added
Samsung has rolled out the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 for its popular mid-range smartphone Galaxy M31s. The version number of the update is M317FXXU2CUB1 and the company is rolling out it in batches. This update, with a size of 1.93GB, has been given features like improved stock app, one-time permission, conversion section in notification area and parental control with new UI.
The special thing about this latest update from Samsung is that the company is also offering a security patch of February 2021 with it. As soon as the update comes on the device, the user will get its notification. Users can check this update by going to the Software Updates section given in the phone’s settings.
Features and specifications of Galaxy M31s
The phone has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The aspect ratio of this phone with a thin bezel and punch-hole display design is 20:9. Equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, this phone offers up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
Exynos 9611 chipset has been given as processor in Galaxy M31s. There are four cameras for photography in the rear of the phone. These include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie, the company offers a 32-megapixel front camera in this phone. Talking about the battery, in this phone you get a powerful battery of 6000mAh, which supports 25 Watt fast charging. For connectivity, this phone has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.
