Motorola smartwatches are making a comeback, and the next-generation lineup has already surfaced online. The new series reportedly includes three models, the Moto Watch, Moto Watch One and Moto G, all of which could launch this year as the company re-enters the wearable space.
Motorola Smartwatches: What the Leak Reveals
Pictures shared on social media give a clear look at the design of all three models. According to the photos, the Moto Watch features a square-shaped design with curved glass protection. The remaining two models, the Moto Watch One and Moto G, come with a round-shape display instead. The Watch One features visible bezels, while the Moto G adopts a sportier look with a slightly thicker frame.
That split in shape is worth noting. By pairing one square model with two round ones, Motorola appears to be covering different tastes in a single launch: the square Moto Watch leans into a more modern, app-style face, while the circular Moto Watch One and Moto G stick closer to the traditional analogue-watch look that many buyers still prefer. The thicker, sportier frame on the Moto G in particular suggests it is being positioned for active and fitness-minded users.
The leaks come from a social media user named Felipe Barhau, who regularly posts about Motorola products. While the design and naming have appeared online, the company has not made any official announcement about the new wearables. All three models are currently said to be in the development phase, which means specifications, final naming and pricing could still change before launch.
Expected Launch Timeline
Based on the leak, the Moto G smartwatch could be launched in June, while the Moto Watch and Moto Watch One are tipped to arrive in July this year. Only three models are reported to be in development for now, so additional variants have not been confirmed.
A staggered rollout like this, with the Moto G first and the other two following a month later, would give Motorola back-to-back launch moments rather than a single event. As always with leaks, however, these dates are unofficial. Until Motorola confirms anything itself, the June and July windows should be treated as expectations rather than firm release dates.
A Look Back at the Moto 360
This is not Motorola's first attempt in the smartwatch market. In 2015, Motorola launched a watch called the Moto 360, followed by a third generation in 2019. The Moto 360 (third generation) was launched at a price of Rs 25,800. It featured a 1.2-inch OLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 processor, and it ran on Google's Wear OS. Given that history, it is expected that the new smartwatches will also be based on the same OS.

Why It Matters
If the leak holds true, Motorola smartwatches will return with a mix of square and round designs aimed at different buyers, from style-focused users to sporty wearers. With three models reportedly arriving within a couple of months of each other, the brand appears to be making a serious push back into wearables after years away from the category.
