A new report claims the upcoming iPhone 13 series will pair an optical in-display fingerprint sensor with Face ID, giving users two ways to unlock the handset. According to the report, the iPhone 13 will feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor alongside Face ID. The same claim was made earlier by Apple device analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who suggested an optical under-display reader could arrive in the series.
The report also hints that the handset may borrow some features seen on the Samsung Galaxy S21, though specifics on that point were not detailed.

Reports so far point to four models in the lineup, all using OLED panels. The top two models are said to use LTPO OLED screens that support a 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera side, the phone is expected to use an ultra-wide camera.
