Lenovo has expanded its premium laptop range in India with two Yoga-series machines, and the headline act is the Lenovo Yoga 9i, a convertible with a 4K display and stylus support. Alongside it, Lenovo introduced the Yoga 7i and the IdeaPad Slim 5i, giving buyers three options across different budgets. All three run Intel 11th-generation Tiger Lake processors and include a webcam privacy shutter.
The trio targets shoppers who want recent laptops with up-to-date silicon, from a flagship convertible down to a more affordable everyday notebook.
Lenovo Yoga 9i: the premium convertible
The Lenovo Yoga 9i sits at the top of this launch. It has a military-grade back panel, Dolby Atmos sound, and a 4K display with stylus support. The machine can be used in both tablet and PC modes, and there is a dedicated slot for the stylus pen.
It ships with a choice of Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro. The 14-inch Ultra HD IPS display runs at 3840x2160 pixels, supports HDR 400, and reaches a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Inside is an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and Intel Iris Xe graphics.
Audio comes from four speakers, including two woofers and two tweeters. A 60Wh lithium-ion polymer battery powers the laptop, and there is a 1-megapixel webcam with a shutter for privacy. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Yoga 7i and IdeaPad Slim 5i: the alternatives
The Yoga 7i offers a choice of Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro. It has a 15.6-inch full HD IPS touch display at 1920x1080 pixels, an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. Its 71Wh battery is claimed to last up to 16 hours, and it features a front-facing speaker with Dolby Atmos support plus a 1-megapixel camera with a privacy shutter.
The IdeaPad Slim 5i runs Windows 10 Home and has a 14-inch full HD IPS anti-glare display. It uses an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 Tiger Lake processor with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics. It also includes a 720-pixel HD camera and four speakers.
