The Lava BeFIT smartband is the company's first wearable, and it lands in India with health features that many buyers want on a budget. Lava Mobiles launched the band alongside new smartphones, pitching it as an affordable way to track heart rate, body temperature and blood oxygen levels from the wrist.
Lava BeFIT smartband price and availability
Lava has priced the BeFIT at Rs 2,699 in India. The smartband goes on sale from 26 January 2021 through Amazon India, Lava's official website and offline stores.
It was unveiled at an online event where Lava also introduced several new phones, including the Lava Z1 aimed at users moving from a feature phone to a smartphone, priced at Rs 5,499.
Lava BeFIT features and health tracking
As Lava's debut fitness band, the BeFIT focuses on everyday health monitoring. An Spo2 sensor measures blood oxygen levels, while heart rate tracking and body temperature monitoring round out the core health tools.
The band also keeps tabs on your daily activity and pushes phone alerts to your wrist, so you can stay connected without reaching for your phone.
